Who I am as a writer...
- I enjoy keeping a journal at home to remember what I am thankful for every day.
- Blogging is a new avenue I am currently exploring. I enjoy reading others blogs, but being able to share my struggles or successes with others outside of my school environment is very encouraging!

My interests include...
- Reading, reading, reading. I love getting into new series and discussing with my mom and sister.
- Take walks around the neighborhood with my husband... especially on a sunny day!!
- Caring for our cats, and our new class pet guinea pig, Butterball
- Trying new recipes to bake or cook
- Teaching my students to love reading and writing!
